Because it is our goal to provide only the highest quality tours, rather than filling our calendar with as many groups as we can get to come, we prefer to host a smaller number of groups each year and ensure each one is treated like family.
Our tours and packages can take you almost anywhere for just about any budget.
A sampling of things you can do on your tour are: We can take you to attend multiple Tibetan festivals, including Horse Racing festivals, Tibetan Shaman’s Festival, Tibetan Losar( New year) Festival, and others. We can take you to Lhasa (including permit arrangements for Tibet Autonomous Region or TAR). We can plan treks to Tibet’s holy mountains or treks to just about anywhere you want. We can set you up to stay with Tibetan or Mongolian nomads where you can stay in their tents or yurts, and eat and talk with them, really experiencing their culture. We can also design trips where you can ride horses or yaks, traditional Tibetan animals or motorcycles, a newer Tibetan mode of transportation, or even mountain bikes.
We try to have our customers really experience the culture of where they are visiting. With that in mind, we would encourage you to let us take you to visit farmers, nomad families, and monk's residences. And let us help you experience the Tibetan festivals.
Because we want to tailor every tour to our customer we do not offer standard, one-size-fits-all itineraries. Please contact us and tell us what kind of things you would like to do or to see, where you would like to go, and what kind of budget you have for your tour. Be as a general or specific as you want or can be on what you want your tour to look like. We can accommodate all - our tours are flexible in regards to where you stay, what kind of transportation, etc. We will send you back a few custom itineraries and then we can work together to customize them from there.
Whatever your budget is the quality of your guide will not suffer. The tour guide will always be local, knowledgeable, and friendly.
And with your itinerary with us, you do not need to limit yourself to just the Tibetan area. We do focus on many, including Lhasa in the Tibetan Autonomous Region, and Kham and Amdo areas in Qinghai, Sishuan, Gansu, and Yunan, but we also can plan trips to Beijing (Forbidden City and the Great Wall), Xi’an (Terracotta Warriors), and just about any other city in China. We can arrange trips to Dunhuang, and the Silk Road. Really, the possibilities are endless. Just tell us where you want to go.
